Bone Graft
A bone graft is a procedure used to rebuild or strengthen bone in the jaw after bone loss has occurred. Bone loss can happen for several reasons, including missing teeth, gum disease, trauma, or long-term tooth infections. A healthy, stable jawbone is important for supporting teeth and preparing for treatments like dental implants. During the procedure, grafting material is carefully placed in the area where additional bone support is needed. Over time, the body naturally heals and integrates the graft, creating a stronger foundation for your smile. Bone grafting is commonly recommended before dental implants to help ensure long-term stability and success. Healing typically takes place over the course of 4 months. Our goal is to restore both function and confidence while creating a healthy foundation for future dental care.
